I’m an investor at Llama Ventures, a $300M+ early-stage fund focused on AI. My job is straightforward: find the founders building things that actually matter, and back them before the rest of the market wakes up.
I came in sideways. I studied Applied Mathematics at UC Berkeley, then spent a year at Harvard studying how humans actually learn — not how textbooks pretend they do. In between I’ve done strategic investing at OPPO, research at Harvard Business School and the Kennedy School, and co-founded a company of my own at Eagon.
That mix is the whole point. Math taught me to take systems apart. Learning design taught me that the most powerful technologies are the ones that make people more capable, not more dependent. I’m drawn to AI companies built on that same instinct.
